Father, Your Word says and I should value our marriage as valuable, priceless, and especially dear. We agree with Your Word.
We put an end to conflict by being quick to hear, slow to say, and slow to rage. We confess and trust that we do not insult one another.
So we dedicate ourselves and our marriage to becoming the great instrument on earth that You created us to be, as Your Word states. We want to be examples of Your love to each other, our children, family, and friends.
So, Father, we choose to live in harmony right now. We promise not to be swayed by egotistical desires that promote discord and We declare that we cherish and honor our marriage by not defiling it. We vow that our marriage becomes stronger each day and inspires others. We shall be gentle, tenderhearted, sympathetic, understanding, and loving toward one another. We always hope for the better and readily forgive each other.
Our peaceable dwelling and peaceful resting place is declared and established by us, Father. Thank you, Father, for making us joint heirs of life! We make this pledge before Your throne in Jesus’ Name and by Your Word’s power. Amen.
