God’s Faithfulness
Part 1

Exodus 34:5-7

Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed His Name, the LORD. And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished; He punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.”


Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.


Psalm 36:5-6

Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, Your justice like the great deep. O LORD,
You preserve both man and beast.


Psalm 40:10

I do not hide Your righteousness in my heart; I speak of Your faithfulness and salvation.
I do not conceal Your love and Your truth from the great assembly.


Psalm 71:21-23

You will increase my honor and comfort me once again. I will praise You with my lips for Your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you, O Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You- I, whom You have redeemed.


Psalm 89:1

I will sing of the LORD’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make
Your faithfulness known through all generations.


Psalm 89:2

I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You established
Your faithfulness in heaven itself.


Psalm 89:8

O LORD God Almighty, who is like You? You are mighty,
O LORD, and Your faithfulness surrounds You.


Psalm 89:14

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; love and
faithfulness go before You.


Psalm 91:4

He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.


Psalm 92:1-2

It is good to praise the LORD and make music to Your name, O Most High, to proclaim
Your love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night…

 

Psalm 100:4-5

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.

 

Psalm 117:1-2

Praise the LORD, all you nations; extol Him, all you peoples. For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD.

 

Isaiah 61:7-9

Instead of their shame My people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”


Lamentations 3:22-24

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself,
“The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.”


1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,
He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

 

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.

 

2 Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

 

Hebrews 10:19-24

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may
spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

 

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness.

 

Psalm 33:4

For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.

 

Psalm 36:5

Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies.

 

Psalm 86:15

But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger,
abounding in love and faithfulness.

 

Psalm 89:1

Psalm 108:4

For great is Your love, higher than the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

 

Psalm 115:1

Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to Your name be the glory,
because of Your love and faithfulness.

 

Psalm 143:1

O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy;
in Your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all!

Hebrews 11:1

 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

 

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

 

Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain,
‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

 

Matthew 15:28

Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.”
And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said,
“why did you doubt?”

Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him,
